Grief as a Path to a New Worldview - November 12, 2008

Posted on Nov 6th, 2008 by Kimberly : Director of The Kamlak Center Kimberly

Dr. Betty Kovacs, author of The Miracle of Death, will be Wendy Garrett's featured guest on Internet Radio Show "Conscious Living" on Wednesday, November 12, from 1:00-1:30 PM Pacific Time at Conscious Living.  (The show will be archived and available for download after the show.)  JOIN them for a fascinating interview.

According to Dr. Kovacs, our grief and our joy teach us the truth of the Mayan oracle that "Polarity is the loom on which reality is strung."  To be alive is to be both this loom and the weaver of its realities. Through the play of these opposing principles in our lives, we learn to weave the fabric of our experience into a new form of consciousness.

All around our planet people are AWAKENING TO THE DIVINE GAME and, as we do, we are identifying and creating the principles and possibilities of this Game.  As we remember, discover, and explore ancient and new modes of knowing and experiencing, we remember the sacredness of all life as co-creators of and participators in this great Game.

The Miracle of Death by Dr. Betty Kovacs (8:28)

*Supporting a friend or family member who has lost a loved one?

*Searching for answers about life and death?

*Fascinated with true stories of the continuation of consciousness after physical death, dreams and visionary experiences with loved ones who've crossed over?

*Opening up to extraordinary experiences but still afraid to speak of them?

*Working in hospice, psychology or social work to assist the dying and/or their loved ones through the transition?

THE BOOK:  The Miracle of Death is a true story of one family's extraordinary experiences, including precognitive dreams, visions, after death communications, out of body experiences, and synchronistic events, surrounding multiple deaths in their family. The sole survivor and narrator is a Western trained academic who initially struggled to accept realities that ultimately changed every aspect of her life.  Weaving personal, historical and mythic perspectives, Dr. Kovacs shows us that such individual experiences along with cutting-edge scientific research support a radical change in the way we think about death–and life.
